Aitken College Wetlands

After weeds were removed and erosion controls put in place.

Photo taken on Feb 4 2009.

Wetlands after revegetation and rain.

The wetlands are now used by classes throughout the school. Please feel free to take a walk around them and see some of the amazing wildlife we are attracting back to Brodies Creek.

Year 6 Enviromental Technology

Students in the Year 6 Environmental Technology class have been building possum boxes for the last 2 months. Each box is going home to provide accommodation for resident brush tail possums.

  Clean Up Australia Day
Approx 30 students helped clean up Jack Roper Reserve and the neighboring bird habitats. We removed over 15 garbage bags of litter. The staff and students worked tirelessly. Well done to everyone involved.
