Courses in this subject provide students with knowledge, skills, processes and understanding of information technology. The course emphasises problem identification and solution using computer software applications.


The study of Information Technology is available to students in all year levels from Prep to Year 12. At levels 8 through to 10, it is available as an elective and students have the opportunity to develop skills in multimedia, programming languages and office applications. At VCE level three studies are offered these include Units 1 and 2 Information Technology, Unit 3 and 4 IT: Applications and Unit 3 and 4: Software Development.
