Commerce education at Aitken deals with individual and real world issues, bridging the gap between theory and application. Students learn problem solving skills and how to apply knowledge to real problems. Through investigation of current issues in government and economics, students become more confident citizens, able to better understand and influence the world they are stepping into.

Students at Years 9 and 10 can study Commerce, which examines personal finance, economics, and civics and citizenship. Aitken provides a large menu of VCE and VET options for Commerce students, including Business Management, Legal Studies, Economics and Accounting.
